Darchay shalom. Darchay is from the same root as derech, road, way. Whenever you can create shalom: the highest level is to create reciprocal agreements.
Zetzach of Aaron is the genetic marker his descendants have.
Juggling priorities: Do we reinstitute the reading of the Ten Commandments? What is the correct translation: the Ten Utterances, the Ten Harsh Words (devar), the Ten Tough Words, the Ten Stony Words? Every translation is a commentary. Elokim is a plural, as is chayim (life). The Ten Commandments is found at the end of Shakris.
The outgoing watch and the incoming watch would greet each other.
Do the mitzvah only when you have intention. A mitzvah without an intention is like a body without a soul (nefesh). Intimacy. Mitzvah is connection.

TRF: Abel was spiritually superior and arrogant, which aroused murderous anger in Cain. Abel might be the microcosm of the Jewish people, while the murderous anger is the persecution.
Our daughter religions want legitimacy.
When weâre acting on the neshuma (highest soul) level, we know the whole process of food production. When weâre acting on the nefesh level (animal soul), we just say the bracha. The animal part of us is a do-er and we have to sanctify it.
Action, speech, thought.
Nefesh: obligation creates an opportunity for exodus. At this level we daven (pray) lilke weâre carrying bricks up a mountain: at the top we drop the bricks, relieved that weâre done. At the neshuma level weâre achieving intimacy, going into G*dâs palace, eating G*d. Complacency and intimacy are a balancing act.
